Family Pet Show 2016

It’s a few days post the family pet show and I think we are all still recovering from the busy few days!

Andy and Dave manned the Lyndsey’s Pet Servives stand whilst myself and Lavender (amongst other critters) helped at Safari Phil’s stand.

A great weekend was had by all! For more photos check out Safari Phil’s Facebook page!!

Blast from the past…take a look!

To cut a long story short, I decided to google Safari Phil and see what came up!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the photos from this blog appeared in the image search but I was even more surprised to find this snippet of video genius from none other than the man himself, Safari Phil, and Manchester Evening News from 2013. To have a read of the article and watch the video of Phil and Bella (the royal python) follow the link below.

We will once again be appearing at the Family Pet Show at Event City, next to the Trafford Centre on October 1st and 2nd. Make sure you pop by Safari Phil’s stand (E7) to meet Lavender and all the other Critters and also Lyndsey’s Pet Services stand (D13) to sample our brand new 100% natural dog treats!

Tickets for the Family Pet Show are available from!

Memories…and updates!

Hey everyone!

So today on my time hop was a photo of Lavender from a year ago…

My how time flies!!! She is still as cute and cuddly as ever!

I just wanted to reiterate to people considering getting a skunk to get kits as introducing youngsters to other people and animals from an early age will (as I call it) bomb proof your skunk!

The photo below says it all…not many skunks would curl up for a cuddle with a 50kg Rottweiler a couple of inches away! But Lavender has always got on well with new people, animals and environments and I put this down to introducing her to these things so early on!

As for updates I just wanted to let you all know that Lavender will be appearing at a few events coming up! Sunday 28th August is Oast House time for SpinFest! 29th August we will be appearing at Pennington Pooch Parade and do not forget, the highlight of Lavender’s calendar, the one and only family pet show in October!!

Sleep tight skunk fans!!!

Age: 15 months

Weight: approx 3.5kg

Favourite Food: chicken, eggs and MEALWORMS!

Best friends: Lyndsey (my owner) and Larissa (my buddy)

Favourite thing to do: chase people’s toes to nibble them and dig up carpets!

Favourite time of day: early evening- this is when I get fed and my owners are home to follow around and cuddle me!

Favourite quote: Love is Lavender Shaped!!!

Cute habits!

Today on my time hop was a photo of Lavender with the caption #spottheskunk (see below!). This is so typical of Lavender who loves to snuggle under the covers! She even joins me in the middle of the night!! More often than not when I get home there is a small lump in the middle of our king sized bed and it is a sleeping Skunkles!

One of the main things that made a skunk appeal to me as a pet is that they love cuddles and love sleeping and this is never more true than with Lavender!

Whilst you’re here, check out our new look website at Lyndsey’s Pet Services and the newly branded Lyndsey’s Animal Antix for your interactive animal handling sessions for schools, parties, events and more!
